Built for families, by people with families

About Tahana

We built the household app we always wished existed.

Tahana was born out of a familiar frustration: too many apps, not enough coordination. Between budgeting tools, grocery list apps, shared calendars, recipe finders, health trackers, and reminder apps — we were spending more time managing apps than managing our household.

We started with a budget calendar — a simple idea of placing income and expenses on an actual calendar so you could see your month of money rather than just scroll through a transaction list. That worked so well that we kept building. Meals. Shopping. Health. Events. Documents. Before long, we had the household OS we'd always wanted.

The word tahana is rooted in a sense of warmth, belonging, and home. That's exactly what we set out to build — not a productivity tool, but a home for everything that matters in your daily life.

Today, Tahana is a focused team dedicated to building the best household management app on the planet. We're bootstrapped, profitable, and in it for the long run. Our revenue comes entirely from subscriptions — which means our only incentive is to build something you love enough to keep paying for.

The principles that guide every decision we make about Tahana.

Privacy first

Your family's data is yours. We don't advertise, we don't sell data, and we don't monetize your personal information. Tahana is funded entirely by subscriptions.

Built to last

We build deliberately and sustainably. No VC growth-at-all-costs. Tahana is designed to be a tool your household relies on for years, not a startup that pivots or disappears.

Families over features

We ship features that solve real household problems — not features that look good in demos. Every module in Tahana came from something we or someone we know was struggling to manage.

Honest pricing

One fair price. Every feature. No upsells, no add-ons, no data harvesting to offset a 'free' tier. We'd rather be a small, trusted company than a big, compromised one.

Have a question, a feature request, or just want to say hello? We read every message.

$9.99/month. Every feature. For the whole household.
